2025-2026 Enrollment for 7th - 12th Graders and The Academy
Starting January 2, 2025, Northeast Wisconsin School of Innovation is accepting applications for new students for the 2025-2026 school year for students who will be in grades 7 through 12.
Application to and attendance at N.E.W. Innovation is voluntary and no tuition is charged. Students who do not wish to attend or are not admitted into N.E.W. Innovation may attend their neighborhood schools or seek enrollment in another Green Bay Area Public School District (GBAPS) school per GBAPS Board policy and Wisconsin’s open enrollment process.
There will be three enrollment windows. If the number of applicants does not exceed the established enrollment cap(s) all students eligible for admission will be accepted for admission and no lottery will be held. If the number of applicants exceeds available seats, a lottery will be employed for students. The names of students on the waiting list will be recorded in the order in which they were drawn.
Enrollment Period 1: January 2, 2025 opens at 8:00 a.m. - January 31, 2025 closes at 4:00 p.m.
Enrollment Period 2: February 3, 2025 opens at 8:00 a.m. - April 30, 2025 closes at 4:00 p.m.
Enrollment Period 3: May 1, 2025 opens at 8:00 a.m. - July 15, 2025 closes at 4:00 p.m.

Northeast Wisconsin School of Innovation is also accepting applications for students interested in the Academy. The Academy is an alternative pathway to graduation for seniors who are credit deficient. The Academy is a competency-based program that helps seniors obtain a diploma while also preparing individuals for post-secondary educational opportunities at NWTC, to enter the workforce full-time, or for students who are interested in joining the military. 2. Fill out the Intra-District Transfer Request Form or Open Enrollment Application
For Residents (you reside within the Green Bay Area Public School District) - Submit the Intra-District Transfer Form and learn more on the District website. Also, if your student is new to Green Bay Area Public Schools, please complete District Registration.
OR
For Non-Residents (you reside outside the Green Bay Area Public School District) - Non-resident students must be approved through the Open Enrollment Application process. Non resident students should not submit online registration unless you are directed to do so through an open enrollment approval letter.
*Applicants will be enrolled in N.E.W. based upon space availability. To participate in the first quarter, students must be enrolled and registered for school by the last Thursday in August. Approved applications beyond this date, will have a start date that coincides with the start of a quarter.
**TRANSPORTATION: Parent/Legal Guardian is responsible for transporting students to and from school.
